In general, after the improvements I think my blog looks organized and clear, but it could use more posts and details to be a great blog. For example, I only have colors and images in some of the posts and maybe I should make it a goal to have something visually attractive in every one. The About Me section is very short; I could definitely write more there in the future in order to help my readers know about me, and thus about my blog. I also have to work on updating my blog frequently; I have only a few posts so far and updates will keep people interested.
Last December, the epic saga of Star Wars was brought back to life with a seventh movie directed by J. J. Abrams. It was no small feat: after the extremely negative reviews received by the prequel trilogy, it would be a great challenge to bring back the movies everyone loves. But J. J. did it. With good characters, huor, and spectacular action, The Force Awakens was the perfect Star Wars sequel.
We are facing perhaps one of the most Star Wars-packed periods in all time. What with The Force Awakens breaking box office records, the first Rogue One teaser trailer just released, the season finale of the animated series Star Wars Rebels just around the corner, and Disney's plan to release a Star Wars movie every year until 2020, this may be the best time to sit back and appreciate what this captivating saga has done for us.
In 1977, Star Wars began as nothing more than a movie on a screen. In the 38 years since, it has evolved into a universe - a universe that has affected our lives in infinite ways. 1. Visually appealing for the viewer: the blog looks attractive and people will want to read it.
2. Consistent topic: the topics discussed in the blog are related to each other in some way. 3. Pictures: the blog has a variety of pictures, not just text. 4. Weekly updates: new posts are added to the blog to keep the viewer interested, since it will be new information. 5. Colors: the blog has attractive colors, either in the pictures, the text, or the background/decoration/theme. 6. About Me page: in the blog, you can read about the owner of the blog. http://sethgodin.typepad.com/ http://www.starwars.com/news 1. The Star Wars blog is visually appealing because of the varying photos on the top, and the stars in the background. Seth's Blog looks organized and tidy, but could use a little more color. 2. The Star Wars blog is consistent in its topic: the blog posts are all about the various aspects of the Star Wars universe. Seth's Blog is about different topics. 3. Star Wars blog has a picture in every post and article (sometimes more than one). Seth's blog has pictures along the sides. 4. Star Wars blog is constantly being updated with new content about the Star Wars movies, books, comics, and TV shows that are being expanded on. Seth's blog is updated almost daily. 5. The Star Wars blog is mainly black, but there is a reason for that: black is a Star Wars theme color, and fits the blog very well. As I said before, Seth's blog could use more color to make it more visually appealing. 6. The Star Wars blog contains posts by Star Wars fans all over the world. It is not written by just one person, so it cannot have one About Me page, but each article has a short section about the author. Seth's blog has an About Me/profile page. Bloggers' identity can be found by the information they post about themselves, the topics they discuss in their blog, and the colors and themes they use in their blog. For example if they talk about politics they will be probably an adult not a child, and boys and girls will use different colors in their blogs. Also you can find in what country they live from the language they write in.

The one about my grandfather was the site of the observatory that he runs. The site about me was about a chess tournament that I represented the school in. What appeared about me and my family members is what I expected and wanted to appear. |
