Here is the presentation of Improving my blog.
We are facing perhaps one of the most Star Wars-packed periods in all time. What with The Force Awakens breaking box office records, the first Rogue One teaser trailer just released, the season finale of the animated series Star Wars Rebels just around the corner, and Disney's plan to release a Star Wars movie every year until 2020, this may be the best time to sit back and appreciate what this captivating saga has done for us.
In 1977, Star Wars began as nothing more than a movie on a screen. In the 38 years since, it has evolved into a universe - a universe that has affected our lives in infinite ways. 1. Visually appealing for the viewer: the blog looks attractive and people will want to read it.
2. Consistent topic: the topics discussed in the blog are related to each other in some way. 3. Pictures: the blog has a variety of pictures, not just text. 4. Weekly updates: new posts are added to the blog to keep the viewer interested, since it will be new information. 5. Colors: the blog has attractive colors, either in the pictures, the text, or the background/decoration/theme. 6. About Me page: in the blog, you can read about the owner of the blog. http://sethgodin.typepad.com/ http://www.starwars.com/news 1. The Star Wars blog is visually appealing because of the varying photos on the top, and the stars in the background. Seth's Blog looks organized and tidy, but could use a little more color. 2. The Star Wars blog is consistent in its topic: the blog posts are all about the various aspects of the Star Wars universe. Seth's Blog is about different topics. 3. Star Wars blog has a picture in every post and article (sometimes more than one). Seth's blog has pictures along the sides. 4. Star Wars blog is constantly being updated with new content about the Star Wars movies, books, comics, and TV shows that are being expanded on. Seth's blog is updated almost daily. 5. The Star Wars blog is mainly black, but there is a reason for that: black is a Star Wars theme color, and fits the blog very well. As I said before, Seth's blog could use more color to make it more visually appealing. 6. The Star Wars blog contains posts by Star Wars fans all over the world. It is not written by just one person, so it cannot have one About Me page, but each article has a short section about the author. Seth's blog has an About Me/profile page. |
